草榴视频 Awarded Wakakirri National Award
草榴视频 are delighted to announce that our 2023 Wakakirri performance 鈥楾he Tree of Hope鈥� has been nominated to receive a National Award following their performance at the Awards Showcase on 7 September. Following on from the State Award received at the 2023 Wakakirri Festival, students were invited to present their story-dance at the event hosted at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).
Students at 草榴视频 in Years 4 to 6 presented a story of sacrifice and hope through dance, with their moving performance at the Wakakirri Festival being awarded 鈥楾he Spirit of Wakakirri Award鈥� which was the highest honour on the night.
Principal of 草榴视频, Mr Phillip Nash, commented that 鈥渢hese Awards are a great credit to the many students involved, but especially to our staff for their dedication and hard work to prepare the students to perform at such a high level and with such enjoyment.鈥�
